3. Research Paper Series on Race and Insurance Pricing 

The CAS Research Paper Series on Race and Insurance Pricing was created by the CAS to help guide the insurance industry toward proactive, quantitative solutions to address racial bias in insurance pricing. The series explores different aspects of bias in insurance pricing and considers historical foundations and forward-looking solutions for quantifying and addressing bias.

With these papers, the CAS aims to create discussion about bias across all areas of insurance pricing and operations, and to encourage actuaries to participate in conversations with other stakeholders on the matter.
