Diversity, equity and inclusion scholarships

Each year the CIA and the Actuarial Students’ National Association (ASNA) are pleased to award diversity, equity and inclusion scholarships. Established in 2023, these scholarships highlight the importance of diversity and inclusion in the actuarial profession and in society at large.
Our commitment to fostering the future generation of actuaries, promoting math literacy and ensuring the long-term financial stability of all Canadians is central to these scholarships.
Our mission
Our mission with these scholarships is threefold:

- Black, Indigenous and other people of colour,
- women,
- people with disabilities, and
- members of the 2SLGBTQI+ community.
- Support academic excellence: We are committed to assisting students who show outstanding academic achievement in their actuarial studies.
