The Actuarial Standards Board has been informed of a missing word in paragraph 1120.12 (Definition of “best estimate”) of the general Standards of Practice (Part 1000).

The attached standards were approved by the Actuarial Standards Board (ASB) on October 16, 2025, and include revisions to the standards of practice in Parts 1000, 3000 and 4000 (all parts were modified in the French version of the standards).
