Designed to meet the unique needs of Canadians

CIA qualification has built-in flexibility and innovation to help ensure the most convenient and efficient path possible. We offer a modern curriculum and methodology, including online learning and practical, open-book exams offered in English and French.

There’s no need to learn practices and regulations from foreign jurisdictions as part of your qualification. We focus on practical, principles-based Canadian content and actuarial practice applicable anywhere in the world. And CIA-accredited university programs significantly reduce the time it takes to become qualified.
