The Actuarial Standards Board (ASB) has established a designated group on bias (DG) to develop recommendations to review the treatment of the topic of bias within the Standards of Practice.
Revisions to the Standards are needed to provide more explicit guidance on bias considerations within actuarial work. Currently, the Standards only generally address the topic of bias.
