New report on cyber risk quantification for actuaries

A new report released jointly with the Society of Actuaries and the Casualty Actuarial Society builds a probabilistic, quantitative cyber risk analysis model on how cyber risk on assets relates to organizational goals. The report develops a cyber risk analysis method that employs probabilistic attack graphs, which are based on known vulnerabilities in computer software and network topologies. The cascading impacts through the internal dependencies of an organization are considered within this method. A summary is also available.
