Moderator and Speaker Information
Thank you for agreeing to participate in the CIA Pension Seminar being held in Montreal on November 8. Below is the information you need to know in order to prepare for the event.
Presentation Information and Guidelines
The moderator of each session is encouraged to arrange a conference call with all session speakers prior to the seminar. If you have not received yet a call from either the moderator or lead speaker of your session, please notify
Caroline Thebault.
The Canadian Institute of Actuaries strongly urges all speakers to use presentation materials. While it is not mandatory to use the CIA Meeting Template, it is highly recommended to ensure a consistent format for the entire seminar.
We request that all presentations be submitted as original PowerPoint files. They will be converted to PDF files prior to being posted on the CIA meeting app and in the Proceedings section of the CIA website after the event. If you do not intend to have a presentation or handouts for your session, please notify
Caroline Thebault.
Acknowledgement and Release
The CIA records all sessions. If you do not wish to have your session recorded, please notify
Nancy Jenkinson. Otherwise, all presenters must sign the CIA’s Acknowledgement and Release form on-site.
