Marc-André Lajoie

Marc-André Lajoie is a data scientist at CGI and a PhD candidate in nuclear engineering at École Polytechnique de Montréal. He also has previously held positions as a senior consultant at KPMG Forensic. As part of his day-to-day duties, he has worked on a wide range of applications related to data and analytics, such as predictive modelling of cybersecurity attacks, fraud, and collusion detection algorithms and forensic data analytics. As a PhD candidate—a collaboration with Électricité de France—he is also helping develop improved parallel algorithms for the simulation of neutrons in the core of nuclear reactors, at a junction between physics, computer science, and applied mathematics.
