Presenter Information
Thank you for agreeing to participate in the CIA Actuarial Evidence Seminar being held in Toronto, on September 23–24. Below is the information you need to know in order to prepare for the event.
Presentation Information and Guidelines
The moderator of each session is encouraged to arrange a conference call with all session speakers prior to the meeting. If you have not received a call from either the moderator or lead speaker of your session four weeks before the meeting, please notify
Caroline Thebault.
The Canadian Institute of Actuaries strongly urges all speakers to use presentation materials. While it is not mandatory to use the CIA Meeting Template, it is highly recommended to ensure a consistent format for the entire meeting.
We request that all presentations be submitted as original PowerPoint files. They will be converted to PDF files prior to being posted in the Proceedings section of the CIA website after the event. If you do not intend to have a presentation or handouts for your session, notify

Logistics
Registration
All moderators and presenters are required to register for the meeting—the deadline is September 14.
Hotel Accommodation
All presenters are responsible for their own hotel arrangements.
On-site
Upon arrival at the hotel, please pick up your registration materials and name badge at the CIA Speaker Registration Desk. The desk will be open as follows:
Friday, September 23 7:30 – 16:00
Saturday, September 24 7:30 – 11:00
