Heather Mason-Wood

Heather Mason-Wood, a vice-president at Canso Investment Counsel, earned a BSc and MBA then worked as a representative for Investors Group. After joining the Bank of Nova Scotia in 1988, she held many management positions over 15 years, including serving as director of risk management. Ms. Mason-Wood joined Canso in 2003, and is now responsible for credit analysis, portfolio management, marketing, and client servicing. She is also the chief compliance officer. She has been invited to speak at conferences on a variety of topics, including investing and credit ratings, and has been published in industry magazines.
