Brandon Katz

Brandon Katz is a catastrophe modelling consultant at JLT Towers Re, where he specializes in reinsurance treaty risk quantification. He previously spent five years as a lead flood risk modeller at Risk Management Solutions. He worked on teams developing the China Typhoon Flood, North American Hurricane, and European/U.S. Flood models. In addition, he also helped co-develop a basic tsunami model after the Tohoku earthquake in Japan. He holds a master’s degree in meteorology and atmospheric physics from Pennsylvania State University.
