Hélène Pouliot

Hélène Pouliot is the 2021–2022 President-Elect of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries. She will become CIA President in July 2022.

Hélène has been practicing in life insurance for more than 35 years. She is a Senior Leader at Willis Towers Watson.

Hélène is a CIA Award of Excellence recipient in recognition of her extensive volunteer career with the Institute. Her first assignment was in 1991 with the Program Committee. Since then she has held several other volunteer positions, including chairing the Member Services Council. She has served on the Practice Council, the Committee on Life Insurance Financial Reporting, the Committee on Risk Management and Capital Requirements, and she has been elected to the CIA Board on three different occasions.

Hélène holds a bachelor’s degree in actuarial sciences from Université Laval.
