Free Webcast – Consultation on the Implementation of the Proposed Changes to the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Requirements

The Board has undertaken a review of the CIA’s CPD requirements and is now seeking member comments on the proposed changes. These changes affect the Bylaws, the CPD qualification standard, and several CIA policy documents.

 

A free webcast moderated by members of the Task Force on the Implementation of the Proposed Changes to the CPD Requirements will be held on Wednesday, November 15. The webcast will provide CIA members with an overview of the proposed changes, as well as an opportunity to ask questions.

 

Registration for the webcast is now open: English webcast, French webcast.

 

The notice to members released on October 12 includes detailed information regarding the proposed changes, as well as links to the revised/new versions of the relevant documents.

 

Members may also provide comments using the online form (you must be logged in to the members’ site) or by e-mail to Lynn Blackburn, director, professional practice and volunteer services at lynn.blackburn@cia-ica.ca no later than November 22, 2017.
