Bylaw Amendments Approved – CPD Requirements

On January 17, 2018, the Board approved the necessary Bylaw amendments and related policies to implement the proposed changes to the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements. The amendments will be put before the members for confirmation at the Annual Meeting in Toronto in June.

The enclosed notice to members provides an overview of the final changes, the relevant effective dates, and includes information regarding the material changes that were made to the material following the fall 2017 member consultation.  

A complete communication, including the final revised Bylaws, the revised Qualification Standard – Requirements for CPD, and related policies, will be released in the coming weeks, along with a summary of the issues raised during the recent consultation period, as well as additional “Q&As”. Information and instructions regarding the member confirmation process of the bylaw amendments will also be released later this spring.
